This double degree gives you the opportunity to study science before undertaking medicine. This pathway allows school leaders who have achieved exceptional results to commence a three-year undergraduate science degree followed by the four-year Doctor of Medicine (MD). If you are interested in medical research, you may wish to pursue an honours course which involves an extra year of study and research. You can do so either by suspending your candidature from the Doctor of Medicine degree for one year, or after completion of the double degree.
