Ship Science is Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering course unique to the University of Southampton. It applies engineering science to the field of ships and other maritime structures. This four year integrated masters Offshore Engineering theme will enable you to engineer shallow and deep water structures from offshore jackets to semisubmersibles. This four year MEng, graduates will take the Industrial Placement Year, which is an additional year-long module that allows you to apply for a placement with an engineering-based organisation. The successful placement will be recognised on your Degree Certificate.
