Whether you choose to be a physician or a surgeon, a general practitioner or a clinical scientist, or you follow any other path, our Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) degree course represents the first stage in a rewarding career as a doctor. Medical students need to study a wide range of science and social science disciplines that underpin medical knowledge, understanding and practice. The BM4 curriculum has been designed to encourage students to link their knowledge and understanding across disciplines and to integrate the theory and practice of medicine. You will first need to meet the minimum entry requirements as detailed in our prospectus. All applicants are required to take the UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT).
