The MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner; Advanced Neonatal Practitioner) degree provides an academic underpinning that meets the contemporary challenges of advanced clinical practice. In the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice - Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner; Advanced Neonatal Practitioner degree you will: examine role development in relation to advanced neonatal practice; explore how to meaningfully apply evidence to your role; apply communication and clinical decision-making skills to your professional practice; undertake learning which enables you to develop new and/or enhanced clinical skills in relation to assessment and examination of the newborn, advanced neonatal studies and pharmacology; and demonstrate your clinical competence through simulated and practice based clinical assessment. Assessment methods include essays, case studies, examinations, practice based assessment, a viva voce examination, a clinical portfolio and the dissertation. You will also achieve PGDip award in this course.
