This course aims to equip future managers and industry leaders with the latest agricultural science, technology and business knowledge. The course is also offered as a four-year programme with a paid placement year. The degree integrates business management knowledge and understanding within the broad area of agriculture. A range of teaching approaches is utilized, including applications of business and science on the University Farm, presentations and interactions with a range of businesses and organisations, field trips, policy workshops and opportunities to test out your own innovative business ideas. A key element of your degree is your individual research project. Within the agricultural business management subject you can tailor your research project to your own interests. Your project may use data collected from the Farm Business Survey, work with a company or organization, or you may choose to research a business aspect of the 450 hectare University Farm.
