This course develops knowledge in aspects of management and commercial practice within industry. The year abroad gives you the opportunity to study at an international university. The MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a Year Abroad is a four-year course where you will study advanced engineering techniques and also develop additional knowledge in aspects of management and commercial practice within industry. The year abroad offers you the opportunity to spend one year (normally the second or third year) studying at one of several leading international universities in countries such as America, Australia, Canada and Malaysia. If you decide to spend a year at our campus in Malaysia the second year of the degree is taken at The University of Nottingham in Malaysia at the purpose-built campus just outside Kuala Lumpar, where you will study the same modules at the Nottingham students. Alternatively, you can spend your third year at one of the universities forming the Universitas 21 network.
