This Course offers a popular, vibrant and multifaceted learning environment where a complementary mix of research active staff and practitioners deliver an academic agenda that explores design through a process of ‘creative rigour’. As well as providing the first stage in the seven-year education of an architect, the BArch course also teaches many transferable skills, including creative thinking and problem solving that enable students to complete their first stage of professional training or to graduate and take up a range of other careers.
