The University of Surrey is an international leader in future mobile communications and home to the 5G Innovation Centre, the world’s largest academic research group specifically working in 5G communications. Our research forms new communication concepts through software simulators, which are formed into innovative solutions using hardware demonstrators including wireless networking, new radio, wireless sensors and security. Mobile telephony is reaching saturation in the world’s most technologically advanced countries and is rapidly becoming the main telecommunications infrastructure in the rest of the world. This MSc programme will give you a thorough understanding of the engineering aspects of this rapidly developing field, as well as new emerging systems for the support of broadband mobile internet.
