The MSc in Economics comprehensively covers the core areas of microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics. Our graduates are not only well-trained technically in these areas, but are capable of bringing their analytical strengths to bear on applied issues. The programme includes training in research methodology that provides you with the skills needed to undertake independent research in economics and complete your dissertation. The range of elective modules allows you to tailor your education. These modules encapsulate the broad range of academic expertise and active research interests within the School.

Holders of good Bachelor’s degrees from universities in China will be considered for postgraduate Masters programmes. For courses that require a 2.1, students will need to achieve between 75%-85% from a four year degree. For courses that require a 2.2, students will need to achieve between 70%-80% from a four year degree.
国际学生入学条件
Students need an IELTS 6.5 overall, 6.0 in each component (or equivalent).
