The MA in Classics is our core research training degree, suitable for anyone wishing to pursue doctoral work in a branch of Classics. The programme places a strong emphasis on language training, on theoretically informed approaches to Classical texts, and on practical engagement with your chosen specialism. The MA in Classics is principally conceived as a research training programme which aims to build on the skills in independent learning acquired in the course of the student’s first degree and enable them to undertake fully independent research at a higher level.

Students should hold a Bachelor degree with scores of at least 80% or above from prestigious universities.
国际学生入学条件
Students need to have IELTS score of 7.0 with no component under 6.5; TOEFL iBT: 102 with no component under 25; Cambridge Scale (CPE or CAE): 185 (minimum of 176 per component; Pearson Academic (PTE): 70 (with no less than 62 in each Communicative Skill).
