This course provides hands-on experience of events management from the start. You’ll graduate with knowledge and practical experience of running events, plus essential business skills for all kinds of careers. Key organisations deliver guest workshops, including established festival organisers and national heritage bodies, so you’ll understand how your learning relates to the real world. We have excellent links with a variety of organisations, including BBC Wales, Caerphilly County Borough Council Tourism and Events, Eventure UK, Welsh Government, and CADW. Events are held in all industries, so your skills will be in demand in the private, public and voluntary sectors. Your business skills could also lead to careers in other areas such as sales and marketing, PR, or general management.
