This course is unique programme, designed to prepare graduates for a range of business and entrepreneurial careers. In the current global economic environment, there is a pressing need for students to learn about how to manage in dynamic, uncertain, rapidly changing and entrepreneurial environments. The development and introduction of new technologies, systems and services can produce new economic opportunities. Managing successful outcomes to create, deliver and capture value from innovation has become a complex process, requiring broad-based skills and knowledge. This programme addresses these issues. There is a careful balance between teachings and learning, individual study and group work. Case study methodology and class-based discussions are used to strengthen conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills and there are regular seminars by external expert speakers. Our graduates are prepared for a range of career opportunities, such as launching a new business, developing business start-ups and consulting on innovation and have gone on to work in industries in the UK, Europe and further afield.
