专业简介
The course is a combination of studies on the operating principles of renewable energy integrated electricity systems, the economic and regulatory frameworks for network planning, and in-depth optimization and application system theory. It draws on our last 15 years of research expertise in the area of power system control, power system economics and power electronics; and our influencing of UK and Europe’s energy policy. This has mainly been driven by increasing power generation by renewable energy sources, growth in flexible transmission to meet carbon commitments while producing a reliable and secure supply, developments in the transportation of electricity, the use of IT for system control and regulation, and regulatory and policy changes.

Students should have been awarded a Bachelor's degree from Project 211 university with a final overall mark of 80% or better. Preference is given to candidates with 85% or better.
国际学生入学条件
Students must achieve the College requirement in the appropriate English language qualification: Standard IELTS 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 in all elements); Higher 7.0 overall (minimum 6.5 in all elements).
