专业简介
This Master's degree providing formal training in fluid dynamics and its many applications. Fluid Dynamics is important to numerous industrial, biological, biomedical and geophysical applications, as well as provides a wide range of theoretical and practical tools, and transferable skills that are relevant in a variety of settings including in industry and academia. The course can be taken as a one-year standalone MRes, or as part of the four-year MRes/PhD programme led by the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Fluid Dynamics across Scales. Our MSc in Fluid Dynamics across Scales begins with in-depth training in fluid dynamics through taught modules, which make up 50% of the assessment for this course. The remaining 50% comprises of an extensive research project.

Students should have been awarded a Bachelor's degree from Project 211 university with a final overall mark of 80% or better. Preference is given to candidates with 85% or better.

Students must achieve the College requirement in the appropriate English language qualification: Standard IELTS 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 in all elements); Higher 7.0 overall (minimum 6.5 in all elements).
