专业简介
Epidemiology is the study of the distribution of diseases in populations and their underlying causes, and its application to disease prevention and control. The MSc in Epidemiology offers training in the methodology, design, conduct and interpretation of epidemiological studies on chronic and infectious diseases. It is particularly suitable for students who wish to acquire skills in epidemiology and biostatistics, and to get involved with research projects. Upon completion of this course, students usually develop an academic career by beginning a PhD, or move on to work for public health organizations, pharmaceutical companies or non-governmental agencies.

Students should have been awarded a Bachelor's degree from Project 211 university with a final overall mark of 80% or better. Preference is given to candidates with 85% or better.
国际学生入学条件
Students must achieve the College requirement in the appropriate English language qualification: Standard IELTS 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 in all elements); Higher 7.0 overall (minimum 6.5 in all elements).
