The aim of this course is to provide participants with relevant analytical training, so that they are familiar with the latest theoretical and practical developments relating to Celtic Studies. On completing this course, students will have a solid grounding in the main methods and sources of the discipline, and will also have developed widely-transferable skills which will be of clear relevance to a broad range of careers. Those wishing to explore further their own Celtic roots can take easy advantage of the comprehensive genealogical aids which are available both in the University Library and the nearby National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth. Students can exit at Postgraduate Diploma level.

Students require a minimum of 65% in undergraduate programme from a recognised university in China (211 university) or minimum of 70% in undergraduate programme from a recognised university in China (non 211 university).Mature students will be considered on a case by case basis.

Applicants need to have an IELTS and Internet-based TOEFL test scores of no less than 6.0 (with no element below 5.5) and 87 respectively, are usually acceptable for those who would study through the medium of English.
