The Mundus-Journalism Master is a two-year, truly transnational degree providing a solid foundation for analysing and reporting global changes. Building on journalistic skills, the degree offers a unique combination of journalism, media studies and the social sciences. An international consortium of universities and media outlets work closely together to run the Mundus Journalism programme. The College of Arts and Humanities is home to The Callaghan Centre for the Study of Conflict, Power, Empire. The Callaghan Centre regroups a large number of scholars and postgraduate students with research expertise in the areas of conflict, power and empire. The Callaghan Centre produces world-class research, manages major Research Council funded projects, and promotes collaboration between scholars, policy-makers and cultural providers.
