The Philosophy Programme offers both taught postgraduate courses and supervision for postgraduate degrees by research. We welcome applicants who already have an Honours degree in Philosophy, as well as those with backgrounds in related disciplines who wish to take up philosophy at an advanced level. We are also keen to support interdisciplinary work, particularly in Philosophy and the Arts. If you wish to work in one of the following areas, we would be particularly interested in hearing from you: European Philosophy, Recent Analytic Philosophy, History of Philosophy and Philosophy and the Arts. Successful completion of these programmes guarantees progression to various degrees at the University of Dundee as long as you hold a relevant offer.
