This course works at the cutting edge in a number of research fields, including environmental change, policing, flooding, cold-climate geomorphology, health, volunteering and children and youth geography. We have a supportive and active research postgraduate community in bespoke office space within the Geography department. Geography at Dundee achieved an excellent result in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise. Virtually all staff contributes research judged to be of international excellence with much work considered to be world class. The result reflects our research strengths across the discipline.
