This course develop advanced critical, analytical, interdisciplinary and research skills in a broad range of educational contexts. When students study for the MEd, you will engage with advanced level educational theory and develop the knowledge base and enquiry skills required to understand and contribute to 21st century education. A key part of this course is your Master’s level dissertation. You will build up your research skills during the first semester, in order to apply them to educational issues. Explore and examine these educational issues to develop new ways of thinking and understanding. This course has given graduates the opportunity to move into senior management position within educational settings as well as being able to share their expertise to enhance education provision locally, nationally and globally. By engaging with the MEd course you are able to influence your own professional learning journey and take control of your own CPD.
