Introduction This course is aimed at composers, performers and musicologists with a real interest and passion for choral music. Under the expert guidance of choral-specialists, students will be immersed in the technical, historical and cultural aspects of choral music and will be guided and helped in the finding of their own distinctive voice through the study of the great choral masters, past and present. Students will work closely with a professional choir in residence, learning valuable practical skills in choral-orchestration, conducting and choir training, and hear their compositions or editions performed in concert.
