Introduction The MTh in Ministry Studies degree programme in Practical Theology that combines an intellectually challenging and practically significant introduction to the nature of Christian ministry in a changing, challenging and complex social and cultural environment. This programme has been carefully designed so that it is accessible to those who are already engaged in full time or part time, ordained or lay Christian ministry. It is built around four one week modules that will be delivered at Aberdeen University immediately before the beginning of the University terms, in September and January. The degree programme has a wide range of application. As well as providing a foundation for higher research degrees, it is of value to people with a wider interest in practical theology, as it applies to various aspects of ministry. It is also a degree that would be beneficial for professionals working in other fields who wish to reflect theologically on their practice.
