Introduction You are taught a really interdisciplinary programme to enable you to understand all the different components of sustainability and environmental management. You look at local and global resource mangement, environment impact assessments, catchment management and more to gain a thorough undertanding about how to manage environmental issues within your country. You could be working for local to global regulators in government, consultancies or NGOs. There has never been more awareness of environment and the issues involved in protection and mitgation until recently and you can get involved in land use, pollution control and soil issues as a minimum. This programme is wide ranging in the knowledge you aquire to rapidly give you skills to work in environmental management. You can be from a science or land use background but other disciplines are considered if you are motivated by the programme, have work or voluntary experience and a real interest in the discipline.
