Spanish is one of the world's most widely-spoken languages therefore this course offers considerable and exciting career prospects within an international market including Europe and America. You will also learn the broad theoretical and practical background to today's international business environments, understand and make decisions in rapidly changing markets and gain the transferrable skills that are attractive to all employers. During the third-year placement abroad you will be able to study business at a university in Spanish- speaking country, work in a company or a combination of the two. As well as a placement year you will also have the option to study one further semester abroad, as Newcastle Business School has well developed links with highly respected institutions in Europe, North America, Mexico, Hong Kong and many more countries. Graduates can expect to gain employment in fields such as finance, marketing, tourism, human resource management, supply chain management and consultancy in national and international organizations.
