This course is for people who want to top up a Higher National Diploma to a full undergraduate degree in business, with specialist modules in law. If you already have an HND or foundation degree, this course will allow you to top it up to an honours degree with just one year of additional study. You'll build on your all-round knowledge of business including organizational theory, business models, and factors that underpin a firm's ability to deliver on the triple bottom line. There will also be opportunities to put your learning into practice. The Student Engagement Centre promotes all types of experiential learning including volunteering, internships and placements. The Business Clinic enables our students to participate in a 'consultancy firm' to provide advice for our region's businesses. On graduation you'll be equipped to embark on a business-related career particularly in jobs that involve compliance, international sale contracts and carriage of goods. Past students have used their additional insight into principles of law to build successful careers both in the UK and internationally.
