This course is for people who both want to gain an LLM and undertake the BPTC, which is a mandatory element within the training of aspiring barristers. This course combines an internationally recognised Masters qualification (LLM) with the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) which is a mandatory course for those who wish to become a barrister in England and Wales. Once you have successfully completed the course you will have the skills needed to start a pupillage. This will be the next and final stage of your training to become a barrister.
