Aerospace engineering has evolved and diversified since the early days of powered flight. This programme will give you advanced skills in computational modelling, numerical techniques and an in-depth understanding of engineering approaches to current aerospace problems. This programme will: prepare you to develop new computational and technological products for the aerospace industries; allow you to join research groups working at the cutting edge of aerospace engineering, and computational modeling; and give you the chance to specialise in your own area. The methods of assessment are coursework and formal examinations, which take place in May. Many courses will include continuous assessment so that some or all of the work you do during the course counts towards the final mark. Queen Mary’s Engineering postgraduates go on to work in a wide variety of careers. The majority go on to apply their degree knowledge directly, working as engineers and scientists in various environments, or undertaking a PhD.
