Core themes covered are: the principles of sound and acoustics, and musical instrument acoustics; music composition and production in various contexts; recording equipment and music software/hardware; and the business environment.We will cover the fundamentals of sound, signals and acoustics, learning about the tools and techniques commonly used in music technology. We aim to provide you with a strong understanding of underlying technical principles so that you can design studio space effectively or make informed decisions about appropriate technologies, production values and outputs.
