专业简介
This course is aimed at students with interests in advertising and marketing from the creative to the analytical. A sound knowledge of these complementary disciplines will enable you to fully understand your consumers and design creative communications, which ensure they choose your brand over competitors. The course aims to develop your awareness and understanding of contemporary marketing and advertising concepts and theories. It is designed to equip you with the analysis tools necessary to investigate a marketing and/or advertising problem and develop appropriate solutions. Initially, we will cover subjects designed to help you develop your understanding of business in general, as well as introductory specialisms like market research, planning and communications, which provide a solid foundation for your ongoing studies.

Previous placements have included such companies as IBM, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Procter and Gamble, L’Oreal, Warner Brothers, 3M, BMW, Disney, Rolls Royce and Peugeot; A course which is a specialist honours degree in both advertising and marketing; Teaching by experienced lecturers who are research active, publish in top national and international journals and incorporate this into their teaching.
