The Master of Human Resource Management is one of the few programs that recognises relevant professional experience and may result in credit being granted for up to four courses. International students, a four year bachelor degree including a significant research training component attained at a high standard, is commonly considered equivalent to an Australian honours degree. Other English Language Requirements accepted: Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of 57 with no score subtest score less than 50; Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) score of 52 - 57; TOEFL paper based test 525 min of 4 in TWE. Additional requirements: Applicants with ATAR of 90 or above are also eligible.

There are two pathways into the Master of Human Resource Management.
Direct entry into the Master’s Program (120 units) will be available for applicants who have:
3 year Bachelor’s Degree in the discipline; or
3 year Bachelor’s Degree not in the discipline + 1 year relevant business experience; or
At least 7 years business experience, including 2 years in a management position.
Students entering via this pathway are able to complete 4 courses per trimester, and are able to complete courses in any sequence they wish, that is consistent with course prerequisites. Applicants with an Honours degree in the cognate area or equivalent relevant qualifications at level 8 or above will be given appropriate recognition of prior learning.
The alternate pathway is through the Graduate Certificate (40 units) which will be available for applicants who have:
3 year Bachelor’s Degree not in the discipline; or
3 year Diploma in the discipline; or
3 year Diploma not in the discipline + 1 year relevant business experience; or
2 year Diploma in the discipline + 2 years relevant business experience; or
2 year Diploma not in the discipline + 3 years relevant business experience; or
At least 5 years business experience.
Students entering via this pathway will be required to:
Complete the Graduate Certificate over a minimum of two trimesters (typically 20 units per trimester); and
English language requirements: TOEFL score of 550 in TWE (Test of Written English) minimum of 4.5 in the paper-based test; TOEFL internet based score of 93 and no subtest less than 21; IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 no subtest less than 6.0; PTE score of 64 with no subtest less than 59; CAE score of 58-66; ELICOS Exam[i] score of Higher Level Pass 4 (HP4) in EAP exam; CPE score of C Pass.
