The Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) is a further year of full-time (or equivalent part-time) program that allows students to further develop their specific areas of interest in Information Technology and is a pathway into Research Higher Degree study. Program learning outcomes On successful completion of the program students will have: Current and in-depth knowledge of a chosen field of information technology. Ability to apply research methodologies and theories relevant to a field of information technology and have the ability to undertake a research higher degree. Ability to identify and analyse complex problems within information technology and develop solutions to these problems as the foundation to support life-long learning. The ability to communicate complex concepts effectively through a wide range of verbal, written and/or presentation skills. Professionalism, adaptability, initiative, social responsibility and commitment to professional ethical standards about and through the design process.
